How I can Help
Anxiety
Anxiety is the mind and body’s response to stress, worry, or feeling out of control. It can feel like a constant sense of unease, racing thoughts, or physical symptoms like a fast heartbeat or tense muscles. While some anxiety is natural, too much can make daily life overwhelming. With the right support and tools, it’s possible to feel more relaxed, focused, and in control.
Self-Esteem Issues
Low self-esteem can affect your relationships, career, and overall sense of well-being. We can work together to identify the root causes of your self-esteem issues, challenge negative thought patterns, and empower you to recognize your worth and potential.
Family and Relationship Issues
Are you struggling with challenges in your relationships, whether with a partner, family member, or friend? Relationships are integral to mental health, providing emotional support, resilience, stress reduction, and contributing to a positive self-image. Whether you're dealing with a specific issue or want to enhance your relationship skills, I'm here to support your journey toward stronger, more meaningful connections.
Depression
If you're struggling with feelings of hopelessness, persistent sadness, or a lack of energy and motivation, you're not alone. Depression can affect every aspect of your life, making even the simplest tasks feel overwhelming. I provide tailored therapy to help you navigate these challenges, understand the underlying causes of your depression, and develop strategies to reclaim your sense of joy and purpose.
Trauma (PTSD/Complex PTSD)
PTSD and Complex PTSD can deeply impact daily life and relationships, often leaving individuals feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in cycles of anxiety and emotional pain. Trauma responses aren’t just "in your head"—they’re rooted in real, lived experiences that affect the mind and body. Therapy offers a safe space to gently process and release these painful memories and find relief.
Couples Counselling
Couples therapy offers a supportive space to strengthen your relationship, improve communication, and deepen emotional connection. I incorporate approaches like the Gottman Method, which focuses on building trust, managing conflict, and creating shared meaning, alongside Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), which helps couples understand and transform negative patterns by focusing on emotional bonding. Together, these methods can help you and your partner reconnect, heal past hurts, and build a more resilient relationship.
Grief
Grief is a deeply personal experience that can arise from the loss of a loved one, the end of a relationship, or significant life changes. It’s a journey that often involves a wide range of emotions, including sadness, anger, confusion, and even relief. Each person's grief is unique, and there is no "right" way to grieve. It’s important to honor your feelings and understand that healing takes time. In therapy, I provide a safe and supportive space for you to explore your grief, navigate your emotions, and find ways to cope with the challenges that come with loss. Together, we can work towards finding meaning and rebuilding your life as you move forward.
